Synthetic Grass, which you may better know as astro turf or artificial turf. At the moment we have a small enclosed grass football pitch, however with all the bad weather we get here in great England the lads are struggling to get a good game on it, it is always water logged and very slippery, so not very ideal, especially when they are paying to use the facilities here. I have read up on
Synthetic Grass and decided it is the best alternative, it`s been going since the 1970`s and is now used in most sports centers, residential lawns and commercial applications. I have also been looking at flood lights for the pitch, they are not very expencive these days and can be fitted easily, having some spare cash I do think this is the area of the gym which needs improving the most. Last year I got all new equipment and the place is looking really great, we have recently passed our health and safety check with flying colours and another local gym has closed so the takings are rising. Synthetic Grass is a good price online and will be worth it to improve the pitch, the upkeep will also be a lot easier for me.
